Remarks

Overall it wasn't a very good experience. With more pressure on attending lectures, it made the college quite boring and behave like a school rather than a technical college.

Entrance Preview

I was a diploma student, and so i got to join this college directly in the 2nd year degree of engineering. It was on my marks. My diploma aggregate was 81.5% and so got in this College easily and in the choice of my branch. There was no interview for joining, it was on your marks only.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I selected the Electronics and Telecommunications course as I was interested in networking. The subjects were good and gave us a good knowledge in the core networking subjects. We had practicals every on each subject for an hour. Elective subjects were there in the last year of the course.

Internships Opportunities

No, they College didn't provide any, nor they were interested in helping us with any internship. They were just behind completing the syllabus and forcing students to only attend lectures. completely disappointed by the staff's attitude.

Placement Experience

2

The placement was in a jeopardy at our time. In an engineering college, non technical companies came up to hire students for sales/marketing. Only TCS was the IT company coming up that also for a pool campus. Only TCS provided with a package of 3.4 lacs.

College Events

3.5

Event was very boring. Only college crowd was there. Not much support from faculty as well to participate in events. They dont support bunking lectures for such. Event included traditional day, gang day which was a hit among students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was a bit expensive but the scholarship made it affordable. Since I got direct admission in 2nd year, i had to pay fees for 3 years. The approx fees was around 2.8-3lacs...like about 90-95k a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes we got scholarship under the minority quota of 25k every year. The college also provided scholarship under the EBC/OBC quota as well. Such studies got around 40-50k as scholarship. It was a good thing by the college which helped the students.

Campus Life

3.5

We dint had much. Only in the last year we had an industrial visit, which was interesting and the only learning point for us. Other than that, nothing, completely boring except for few seminars.

Hostel Facilities

3

No idea on hostels. The college didn't had any on campus hostels for students..so no idea on that.

Alumni/Alumna

There wasnt such. They college did not have any.

Exam Structure

It was a hectic schedule. Everyday labs, boring lectures, then monthly exams, assignments, then at the end of semester we had practical exams, vivas by external faculty, made life more hectic.

Faculty

3

We had a mixed group of teachers. Some teachers had a very good understanding of whatever they taught us and a way good way of teaching while some teachers lacked in that. They had no idea on how to teach, like forcibly they are teaching us. Some teachers were really helpful...and some were arrogant. A 50-50 standard of teaching i can say.
