Good Campus life, Hostel, Extra Curricular activities and bad one is Faculty need to be improved

In the year i took the the state level entrance examination EAMCET and i got 13741 rank.Among the i options i had at that range i had chosen this because it is a govt. university that made it different from others. And i had taken Mechanical Engineering as it was my primary interest. The admission process starts after the results of EAMCET were declared. The process goes through web councelling where student should make a list of options and then seat allotment. There is not interview process

My course Mechanical Engineering has 4year course ( 1+6 semester course where 1st year follows annual pattern ). Our curriculum was well organised in a proper manner and had a decent structure. Coming to the faculty, as the college was established in 2009 i feel it didnt got enough powered faculty.

We did a small 3week internship after our 3rd year at RINL Vishakapatnam. There we learnt the subject to a whole new level with such a huge practical exposure.

To be frank,Our college lacks this option.We are the first batch in mechanical engineering, no comapany visited us that time

Every year in the month of february we had a tech fest named ANUSODHANA where students come from various colleges for paper presentations, technical debates and a lot of activities.And every sep 15 we celebrate emgineers dayAnd every year in the month of march we have annual day.And every year we have sports competetions over a week which is the biggest plus to our college. Every student has the oppurtunity to show his talent.

At present our college is self-financed so the fee was 35000 per year . Once it was made a fully govt controlled it will have around 10k per year which is very very low.

I didnt take any loan from the banks. If your family income was less than 1lakh state govt will pay the full tution fee for the college

Campus life was very beautiful. No restrictions. We can have parties at the night. Once there was many caste based panels but now they were banned from the university which is a good sign.Sports competions were held every year over a week between individuals and between various departments. They are well organised in a friendly manner with true spirit

Our hostel was newly built and maintains a proper environment. Equipped with solar heaters and maintains a clean premises.The quality of of food was just average but has college canteen if neede. The fee for hostel and mess will be around 20k which can be

Our batch is the first batch to our college so there were no seniors.but we used to have contacts and maintains good relation with the seniors of other colleges and used to take their opinoins and advices.

The exam structure was well organised by the faculty. We have a minimum day gap between every exam which is better than many colleges.
