What Students Say

Likes

The library of the college is good and have lots of qualities book
Faculties of the college are highly qualified with knowledge
The college page attention on sports and extra curricular activities as well

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good, food is also not proper
Placement offer to students every year are not satisfying
The colleges very out from the city which is also a demerit for students leaving inside the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There are many course available in the college but I choose CSE because it is the most growing field or branch the placement criteria of CSE is the best in the Geeta autonomous college and there are many companies which visit the campus for computer science engineer's. The faculties of CSE branches are good and helpful and have knowledge and good qualifications as well

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

The college have a limited placement criteria every year approx 40-50% students that placed at the package of 6 to 5 lakhs if you are good at studies then you can get a package of 9 to 10 lakhs. There is not great opportunities of placement in this college but it is a moderate college and you can get a placement if you will do a little hard work

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my branch is 195000 for the first year and 1 lakh 90000 for the second year and 190000 the same for the third and fourth year the hostel fees is 65000 every year and there is no hostel facilities for the fourth year. Talking about this scholarship there are many governments as well as private scholarship available in the college if you are full feeling the eligibility criteria then you can easily opt for that

Campus Life

There is a big playground inside the college campus and the college pays lot of attentions on sports and other curricular activities the college is having its own team for football basketball volleyball and other sports as well.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The room inside the hostels are neet and clean with 4 people in one room and there are rooms with two people as well as a single room is also aaloted in the hostel. The male quality are the menu of the hostel is not so good the same menu is repeated twice in a week and quality of the food are also not good

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

There is no eligibility for the course as it is a private college but still they need your jee mains score or your oje score. You can take admission by Odisha counselling or can directly contact to the college and take admission by booking your seat.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Campus Chronicles

I chose this college because it aligned with my academic interests, offered a vibrant campus life, and provided excellent career opportunities. The faculty's expertise in my field of study and the availability of research opportunities were major deciding factors. My college is located in a city with ample internship and job opportunities. Some other colleges were in remote areas with fewer prospects for networking. For some competitive colleges, I fell short on specific criteria such as standardized test scores or extracurricular achievements. In hindsight, I could have prepared earlier or gained more relevant experiences to enhance my application....Read More
