What Students Say

Likes

The location of the campus just right next to a metro station
The clubs here are quite good (assumes).
The fees is quite less than other colleges.

Dislikes

The long hour class that is 9:30am - 5 pm
The teacher should be more qualified and well trained.
75 % attendance policy (If your attendance lags you are not allowed to give exams )

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is similar to other branches in first year , well I am a student in first year . The facilities are okaish I think , not too bad not too good . It's easy to pass in the college examination in aktu if you study atleast 1 week prior to your exams

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

As I already discussed it in the previous questions that being in the first year I am yet not well aware about the internship and placement opportunities in our college .As heard from the seniors it's quite decent.

Placement Experience

1.5

Being in first year ,I am not very very sure about college on campus placements but heard from the seniors that it's quite decent here . The average for cse branch is approx 7-8 lakhs (Not damm sure ) .

Fees and Financial Aid

I overall fees in GCET is 115000/per student and they ask 7500 per semester for aktu semester exams registration and all. The scholarship is eligible to those whose families annual income is less than 2 lakhs and can be filled by everyone

Campus Life

2.5

I personally think , didn't got any fests till now but I think it will be overall good as compared to other colleges in Noida . Clubs are quite good if you cling to it and work for it . Social life at gcet is quite nice .

Admission

Give JEE main entrance exam and apply for counselling on Aktu on its portal I don't think there is some eligibility criteria for enrolling but your source in 12th class should be above 60 %. Category reservations plays a vital role with a benefit of home quota Physical reporting was so much hectic it should be improved by aktu

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
