I would like to say that the college is marvellous in academics side and in rest of the extra curricular activities too .And there is not much to say as name is enough.being an NITian make me feel proud
I appeared for IIT all india entrance exams and cleared it successfully.I got seat in this college based on my marks in IIT MAINS .They had online choice filling option for college selection
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
the fee structure is as follows,seems too high but it's nothing if you are in NIT 1st year-120000/- 2nd year-115000/- 3rd year-115000/- 4th year-130000/-
Placements are there with an average package of around 6.5 lacs here.As we are in civil department many major companies such as L&T ,Birla,Jaypee etc come here for campus recruitment
Hostels are provided upon request and fee payments. They are single accomodation rooms and are too good .
Our college is having rich alumni network and most of them are presently working in reputed companies.Interaction seminars are organized sometimes
The faculty is awesome .Most of lecturers I have seen till now really have a great knowledge of their subjects and are too friendly while teaching too which truly gives a great environment to study here.
extra-curricular activities have its scope here .sports like volleyball, cricket, basketball etc gathers huge interest of students .
Exams I will say gives headache here. Each semester we are having 2 mid sems along with practicals and semester exams separately.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
course curriculum for NITs and IITs remain the same.It is somewhat complex but manageable.I can mention that it is totally up to the mark.Practical learning is all about engineering and that is largely supported here
Internships are provided by the college both on Inhouse projects and in different companies too.The minimum stipend paid is 6000/-.I didn't do any kind of internships till now.
Events are organized that includes both technical and non-technical events.CIVILIAN was the most recent event we had.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
