What Students Say

Likes

The campus placement is good and provide many opportunities
All types of sports facilities available that enables people to healthy life
All types of books Available in library's from technical to literature

Dislikes

Lab need to be upgraded and make more technical
Book are not provided all time sometime books will shorted
Some facilities have knowledge but didn't know way of teaching

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Because From class 6 I have a special affection towards computer and after class 10 I learn python programming and this programming create curiosity about coding so after my class 12 I persue Btech in computer science and Engineering. Student strength is about 72, all the facilities members are PhD from IIT and mtech from prestigious college and they are friendly in nature.there is 2 internal exam before semester exam and level of exam is good.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

After the 5 semester you have eligible for campus placement all the companies visit our campuses mostly tech companies visit and some core companies visit our campus as well around 80% student placed.afer degree I want to place in good company

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is very descent and lowest among most of the college. This makes student affordable to study engeneering and And complete their graduation. There is very less chance in hike of fees . Fees is around 115000 per annum I have not apply for scholarship yet but I have to apply later

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest organize by galgotiya college of engineering is arambh and it creates excitement among students, reduce academic pressure.all the books available in library's but in limited amount and sports facilities given indoor and outdoor and there are lots of clubs you have to participate and explore yourself

Admission

You are eligible for course if you study PCM in class 12 and then fill jee mains application forms and appear for jee exam and qualifying exam after your result declared and cutoff release you have to participate in AKTU counseling. And counseling results will be declared according to your jee result application fees is around 1000,after cutoff declared freeze your seat by paying 20000 rupees and physical report your college with required documents and remaining fees as details given on college website. Counseling process need to be little bit faster.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
