Remarks

Good remarks for the college is that labs provide modern hardware to perform IT practicals and there are also projectors in every class room to promote e-learning and there are interactive class room too

Entrance Preview

Entrace for undergraduate courses is based on 12th boards marks solely, I wanted to go for engineering but my CET score was not that great so I decided to go for B.sc(It) as it has same scope like engineering and Jaihind is one of the best college if you want to go for B.sc(IT)

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course I took is pretty good, Practical learning was good as well, Practicals of each and every topic is done everyday and journals are completed on the same day as well

Internships Opportunities

College has tie-ups with many big firms like wipro and many more companies. Almost 40% of class is eligible to get selected by big firms

The placement of college is generally for all courses is very good, for BSC it many big it companies like wipro etc come every year for placement

Jai hind college is known for its events. It organises most major events in all of Mumbai's college. Fests like shoutt help students to participate in other social activities other than regular curriculum

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for Bsc(it) is pretty affordable compared to engineering its ₹22000/- and compared to engineering college which is around 1-2lakhs rs its quite cheap so it was a good decision to go for B.sc (it)

Scholarships are available for all reserved caste categories and whose income per annum is less than 2 lakhs. College also help such students

College has many fests and events where students can explore there talents and master it. I got ample of opportunities to explore my talent of music because of fests like shoutt where students can eliminate there inner fears and shine there talents on stage infront of audience

No i don't stay in hostel rooms but as far as i know hostel is right close to college and rooms are big enough

Exams are often at large intervals giving enough time for us to prepare

Likes

Teaching staff is awesome they always support and motivate us for our better future
Campus is good and also canteen has good quality food and hygienic
Colleges helps students if they are facing Financial crisis and also gives various opportunities like internship placements and organized various curriculum activities

From third year company started to visit our campus for the jobs companies like itology , infohybrid, skigit , UN women placement drive , job fair , silver link ,proofofskills,TNS india foundation program ,Wipros work integrated learning program ,probox infotech ,irobokid I didn't gave interview because my plan was to pursue masters and I have got training too from college and got good score in cet exam and I also got internship opportunity data analyst internship at Imarticus learning from college

A rewarding learning journey.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive here and the labs are also very good.
They also provides workshop and also lot of extra curricular activities where we get to learn lot of things .
The washroom are also clean and canteen has affordable foods.

Dislikes

Sometimes the staff members don't co-operate here

Placement Experience:

I am going to pursue masters in computer application but college also offers placement and internship opportunities and through out my college I did two internship one was from iide digital marketing internship of one month and second was from imarticus data science internship and the college also provides certification courses like data analysis,cyber security etc.

Supportive faculty and a positive college environment

Likes

the teachers were supportive and explained topics patiently. I found the classrooms and library useful, and the overall atmosphere on campus felt safe and comfortable for learning
the course covered important subjects, and practical sessions helped me understand concepts better. The college also provides scholarship guidance and basic placement support

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes time during admissions and examinations. Faster communication and online updates would make the process more convenient for students

Likes

Minimum strength of class if more than divided into divisions
Time is very friendly to each and every students
Uniform is very best looks very professional

Quality of classes is not so great because of fans
The computers in collage are in properly working condition
Library facility is little weak because of tables in library

Remarks:

It is very positive remark for my college, it made my future. As an effort of placement cell who continuesly work to get the companies inside the college campus for interview and internship. It was the efforts of my teachers and helping seniors due to which i passed my interview and got placement offers from 4 MNC ( Wipro technologies, TCS, Capgemeni, HCL) and after that they helped me to choss the best among the best which was very difficult for me.

Live your Dharma Dreams at Jai Hind College

I had applied for St Xavier's College Mumbai and Mithibai College Mumbai. I got into St Xavier's and decided to not go ahead with the admission because of the nature of the curriculum offered there. According to me, BMM is a practical course and requires practical knowledge and experience that Xavier's college couldn't offer.
