Canteens are well maintained and food is good.

Dislikes

Faculty is quite rude sometimes. Need a little politeness.
No means of transport to go from one place to another inside the campus like yulu bikes

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen this course as I want to opt my career in technological advancement. The faculty of NSUT is quite good. Always there to help as in any sense. Exams are conducted well in time. Proper discipline is maintained during exam processes.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is not hectic in any manner. Its is done on yearly basis. Also scholarship is granted for financial weak students like dhayand saraswati scholarship. A little fee hike is felt when fees is increased on some yearly basis.

Campus Life

Annual fests like moksha and resonance held every year creating a era to be remember. Library is very good providing me all the study materials. Class rooms like apj complex and well maintained. A lot of cultural societies are there to enhance our talent. A lot of sports activities happen on regular basis.

Admission

I got selected through my jee rank. And I done my registration through joints admission commission. The cut off for last round that I have attended was 16000 and my rank was 15258. I played till round 5 where I got this IT branch.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Software Engineering)

As i got a better branch so i decided go there and also it is a way up than dtu.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU....Read More

I didn't get a rejection from other colleges, but I myself choose not to there, as NSUT is a reputed college and government college for btech. It is one of the top college in delhi. 3. The admission process is through JAC delhi counseling in which NSUT DTU IGDTUW comes, and you can select your preference and you will be given tbe course with the college according to your rank scored in JEE MAINS....Read More
