What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure is awesome, it is in 40 acres
The campus life is best because we make friends and have some fun
I would say the faculty is top class they all are best

Dislikes

The schedule of this college is too hectic
Less number of holidays in this college and less holidays after end semester exams
College should help the student for the internship

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually as I was interested in tech and I wanted to be the software engineer so I choose this course The faculty-student ratio is 1:70 Most of the faculty are Ph.D. and they all are top class faculty in their subject if you will follow them then you can easily get a good cgpa Within one month they conduct the exam, If you start preparing 1 week then you can easily pass the exam

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 121000 per year

Placement Experience

I think from 3rd semester you are eligible for the internship Accenture,Tata, Amazon, ibm, and many more Actually, right now placement is ongoing so we don't have the exact news about the package 70% of students gets the placement To get a good post in a decent company

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees is 121000 but first year fees is 141000 And yes there is a scholarship opportunity from UP government so you can fill out the form if you want the scholarship Actually I am 2nd year student so I right now I don't know much about the job

Campus Life

The main disadvantage of this college is that there are no fests except the freshers and farewell You can easily access the books from library for maximum of 10 days There are sports activities in the college but there is no official team of cricket as there is not cricket ground but boys play the cricket in the football ground in the nets There are many societies in the college including tech and non tech

Admission

There are two ways to get admission in this college Direct(on basis of class 12th marks) And through Jee mains entrance exam On the college website you can get the application form, application fees and other general information that you want Yes, there is reservation benefits in the college based on the percentile each category has its own cutoff for this college Yes,actually college is too focused on academics due to which student are not much focused on the other skills which they want to learn but overall the college is good the coding environment is also good of this college but you have to go for the internship on your own because it is fully depends on you because college doesn't provide any internship program

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
