What Students Say

Likes

Every person there was well educated. They are always polite and humble to you. Staff (Ballu kaka) is very lovely and he always treated me as his son.
Campus is always clean. But sometimes the staff’s also litter garbage.
Campus is beautiful and you will always remember its love and people you spent time with.

Dislikes

Everything was good, but during admission process i was very frustrated. It’s very lengthy process.
Once you get admission, you will have to be present in class on mostly regular.
College need some new functions and technologies.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I always wanted to be an engineere because my father is also an mechanical engineer. And my father asked me to research lPU. After i researched, i decided i will take admission only in this university. Faculty student ration is good and teachers are also very good and understanding. Exams are a bit tough, but if you study hard and be focused, its easy.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

LPU doesn't increase the semester fees in every semester. The tuition fee remain same throughout the year. I was hired by an mnc. But after 1 year of work i left. The company. That's other story. Yes, you get multinational companies and very experienced peoples to guide you on right path.

Campus Life

4.5

In extras, this university is what you need. Big concerts, live events, music concerts and dramatic groups and many more activities, that you're gonna enjoy. Inn these facilities, there are no cons. LPU have the best library there. They have football, basketball and other sports facility and competitions always going on.

Admission

Cutoff was high and admission process was also hectic. But every staff and teachers were calm and everyone guided very respectfully. Admission process is a bit lengthy, so it could be a bit easier. I loved the place and people there.

Other Applied Colleges

Mumbai University - [MU] | B.Tech

Because of distance. MU is too far and my parents wont allow.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
