Remarks

JEC is having a craved identity among few of the most good colleges in Jabalpur. Right from academics to everything else it has proved itself.

Entrance Preview

I took lateral entry in this course.I did diploma first and then based upon my marks I took admission in this college. There were no interview sessions just we had counselling session.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is strictly followed as according to that of the Syllabus prescribed by RGPV. The course content is too standard and seems too easy to study. Regarding practical learning our Mechanical department has enough to give.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided in the last semester of the course. The stipend average is somewhat 4 k.If someone wishes they can opt from outside too.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided by many of the top companies. In our department we had FORD, MAHENDRA, L&T etc last year for placements.They have an average package of 4 lacs I guess.

College Events

Events are not that much organised here. Last month we had Mechatron: An introduction to Mechatronics. It was too good

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is affordable. For each we need to some 66 thousands as tuition fee and rest hostel fee is collected separately as according to demand.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are there but only for the meritorious students. Some woman scholarship is also there, I am not sure about.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are scarcely organised here. We only get to see some of them like most common is Annual Day,Intra -college sports meet.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not at all good. In third semester I was there, it's too filthy.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is highly enriched. The graduates from our college are working at good places. They came to campus but for interaction.

Exam Structure

Exams are on semester basis. Each semester we have two mid semesters and two practical exams. They carry half of the whole weightage.

Faculty

Faculty members are very efficient. They teach well and use to be too interactive in class. There content delivery style deals me the most as they are having good experience in that too.

IIIT Bhopal Campus and Placement Review

Likes

I liked the college environment as it is currently running under Manit campus.
I like the fests organised by the internal student community at frequent time.
I like the teaching way of my HODs like how well they educate our students.

Dislikes

I dislike that our college doesn't have its own campus.
I disliked that there is still some lack of labs for the students for their practicals.
Also some seniors take a little ragging but it's banned in our college and if found then a strong action might be taken on the guilty.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Bhopal Placement are very good as compared to other private colleges and also as compared to its NiRF ranking. In ece it's around 15 lakhs, for cs its around 22 lakhs and for it it's around 13- 15 lakhs. This the average package which I have discussed.

Vidhyapeeth college will give you the best opportunity to have been placed about 4 to 6 lack package we have got if we are good in academics and have practical knowledge of the subject and have deep knowledgeable.

I like the faculty of Gyan ganga college of Technology. They are very good.
I like the campus of college and it is very clean comparing to other institutes.
I like the placement given by our college and also rate of placement.

Dislikes

There is nothing about my college which I disliked
i like everything about my college and it is very good

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester studentd are eligible for placement in companies like google microsoft cisco etc. the highest package is 51 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placed 70%. i plan to get a high package after comnpleting my degree

Likes

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .
More companies can be invited for placements
i don't thing there's anything i don't like now

1. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. 2. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other IT/ services firms visit the campus regularly and make multiple offers. 3. The average package ranges between ?4-?5 LPA, while the highest package goes up to ?12 to18 LPA for top performers.

College infrastructure is good but need aware about to clean washrooms of college and need maintaince in lab.This is irrectculas.

In my opinion I chose this course because my some family members are also do this course and his placement is good in this sector how much he thinks he gets . Therefore I do this course and his placement in our city this is also quite enough to chose this course and mainly I didn't score good marks in jee to get other branches this is also one of region.

The clubs in the college are good. There are specific club for coding , for robotics, for music and dance.
The placement in the college is also good . If you give some efforts then you will get a good placement.
The curriculum and syllabus of the college is up-to-date and industry oriented.

Dislikes

The college did not have its own campus, so currently it regulates from inside MANIT.
The girls to boys ratio is very poor. In my batch there are only 18 girls among 650 students.
The fees of the college is also very high

Placement Experience:

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

No strict policy for maintaining 75% attendance criteria but you should maintain at least of 60%
No dress code you can wear casual dresses to in the class but you will have to wear formals only in

Dislikes

The class length is very high and there are 80 students In a class in the class size is small and congested
The infrastructure is very bad as it won't providing basic necessity

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college are decent as the average package is of 6.5 LP which is good as compared to the fees you are paying almost 90% of a students gets placedd from here the companies including TCS and Wipro come here

Washroom and not in well conditions and watercolor is also not working

Placement Experience:

Placements in college are quite good if we compare them with other similar state government engineering colleges. It has a separate TPO (training and placement office) cell which helps students in their placements. Some quite good companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest being 11 LPA. Core competencies the lowest 3.5 LPA salary offered in IT sector companies. Reliance, LNT, Infosys were the top recruiters. Every year students go for internships in BHEL NTPC etc. Companies ( around 30%) Other 70% students go for local transmission plant as the internship is compulsory for everyone. Students organize cultural activities.

I chose Jabalpur Engineering College over many other private colleges as it is government aided and quite affordable . Also , we can get Medhavi scholarship and hence education is free in these 4 years. I also applied for SGSITS and IET-DAVV but got a rejected due to insufficient score in JEE - MAINS.
