Sport very big ground for sport, opportunity to Play at national level

Dislikes

Exam system like a lot of exam are there CA mid term end term. CA with less weightage

A lot of dust as there are always some construction activities are there

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum is good and they change it with time according to requirements in industry as they told us so. Btech CSE is in demand and has job opportunities so in got for it .in English, soft skill and other to According company told weakness in students. Faculty are okaish, some are good, some are avg or below avg. Exam were timely and easy to moderate to pass.

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

LPU Students have gained experience through industry internships in corporate giants like Cognizant, Microsoft, Infosys, ABB, ISRO, and many more are there for this but most of people join through outside campus by there own

Placement Experience

3.5

4 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Company visited were amazon, Goldman Sachs, TCS ,tech Mahindra etc depend on your capacity to crack. Highest is around 40 lakhs and avg were 6 lakh pe annum around. Percentage depends on student requirements etc My plans after getting degree to join a company with good salary

Fees and Financial Aid

They increased fee like 10 to 20 per of semester and 10000 to hostel and some 5000 to mess food per year. Study is affordable but living expenses are some high. It didn't get any job as I am in 1st year of this.

Campus Life

3.5

There are hackathon other other tech fest conducted here. Like for cybersecurity it is in January 2024. Books are available in library, mall or tuck shop. Classroom have ac fan and other requirements are fulfilled here. For sport lpu has sport complex you can go by payment of fee only. There are ground also you can play for free with your item like cricket football basketball etc

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Facilty in room depend on purchase of your room AC are there, cooler are there. They provide facilty like bathroom inside room ,light are good, table chair bed. Meal is okay. Food varieties are there like paneer chole to other South Indian food too. Registration for hostel was through admission website on your login page.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Admission process was through lpunest exam find by advertisement given during hee mains preparation. So eligibility is pcm. It was not that much tough. They gave me scholarship base on my exam performance I think. It was of 25 per of fee per semester I think so. No improvement I see

Good campus infrastructure and modern facilities for students.
Supportive faculty and a good learning environment.
Variety of activities and opportunities for overall development.

Dislikes

Some administrative processes can take more time than expected.
The campus can be crowded during peak hours.
Hostel and mess facilities could be improved further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally manageable with proper preparation. The curriculum could be improved by adding more practical projects, industry exposure and updated topics.

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
