Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen this course because i want to go in the field of cybersecurity so i chosed this btech cse course. Here one section having around 60-70 students and faculty having average of 3 sections so yes faculty and student is good. In LPU faculty are highly educated as talking about btech teachers all are of B.Tech , M.Tech and PhD qualify and after every completion of chapter CA is taken(Academic task) and after completion of 3 months midterm held and within 6 months end-term will be taken its not difficult to pass if u studied well in semester you will easily pass in exam.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th sem, we are eligible for sitting in placement rounds in college. In college, many companies visit like google TCS, Microsoft, and Zoom. The highest package till now is 3 crore which is given by I guess zoom company between 2018-2021 and in 2023 the highest package in campus placement reached approx 55 lakhs and the lower is around 2-3 lakhs and the students who have more than 7 cgpa only able to sit in placements. After the completion of my degree, I will try for a job or I will go for M.tech/MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about fees structure for btech CSE fees is 1.2L per sem and it totally goes around approx 10L for B.tech completion and Lpu provides scholarship on LPUNEST, JEE, CUET and scholarship is divided into 3 category on the basis of your percentage in the above exam and also LPU provides part time jobs also when u have semester break by which you got paid for your work and gain experience also.

Campus Life

Basically LPU is making balance in both studies and fest to make students happy. Availability of books are excellent in library we can get books easily there. Talking about sports firstly we have sports club for different different sports where students registered easily free(expect for swimming) and learn there respective sports and they represent LPU in different sports on state or national level. and for extra curricular activites we have clubs when the students have free time they went there and practice similar like the sports club. THere are different social group by students

Hostel Facilities

Talking about hostel facility I am living in a 4-tier room which cost me around for 80,000 for 1 year and i have taken 4 time meals which is around 40,000 and laundry having 5000/- and the quality of food is good when you are taking admission there is option for residential registration if you want to live in hostel you can select the rooms as your expectation like 1 seater , 2 seater.....etc....

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

So talking about admission process LPU is taking admission through the marks of LPUNEST(entrance exam) , JEE Mains , CUET and any government exam and the eligibility of the course is that you have min 60% in 12th and the application form and fees detail is available on website and lpu admission team also helpful in admission and application fees is around 1000/- INR. I like the admission process.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
