- Optimum opportunities i.e. whatever the case or event is LPU provides its students optimum opportunity so that none othem left behind
- Promotion of entrepreneurship i.e. providing funding to students to start theri own startups and projects if they have potential.
Dislikes
- Overcrowding, since LPU is an private university which takes most of the admission that comes to it due to which faculty to students ratio decreases and quality of education decreases too.
- Some academic programs are still not industry rady which they are teaching us i.e. improvement is required in certain courses to make them industry level ready.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to pursue carrier in computer science engineering field that's why I choosed BTech CSE in LPU. There are many sections with a faculty to students ratio of 1:65 for each lectures and we also have personal mentor allotted to each and every student with whom we have monthly meetings. Faculty are highly qualified with qualifications lo Ike PhD, Masters etc. and they all are very cooperative with students. They all put makeup classes if any class is cancelled. Well, we have our term of nearly 5-6 months in between which they conduct many continuos assessment, midterm and endterm examination. Exams difficulty lilevel is in between moderate and difficult. If any student somehow got failed or got reappear in any of his subjects he can give that exam again to pass that and students can also give marks improvement exam to improve their exams.
Internships Opportunities
Companies linke IBM, Cisco, Oracle etc hire students for internship program where they train them and make them industry level ready. Companies offers students many post like analyst, team manager, associate manager software developer, support developer etc. These companies are highly reputed in the market and they try hire lpu students on permanent basis due to their coding and programming skill set. Currently our lpu students have completed and some are working on many projects some them are LPU Touch, LPU ClassAlert, Verto, LPU Marks Calculator, LPU Calc, LPU-Time Tabulation, LPU NotMe etc.
Placement Experience
From 6 semester mainly students gets eligible for placement but so far now some students git placed in good companies before the 6th sem who had good skill set in programming and coding. Many companies visit LPU for placement drives like 1,057 recruiters participated during LPU placements 2023 and offered 6,645 job offers to the students till May 2023. The LPU highest package offered during the 2023 placement drive so far stood at INR 54.75 LPA. Further, the LPU average package offered to the MBA batch 2023 stood at INR 7 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is nearly ?120000 per semester. As BTech CSE students there are 8 sem in my 4 year course. So, the total fees is like 9.6 lakhs. On the basis of LPU NEST and Other competitive exams we can get scholarship upto ?30000 and get our fees reduced upto 7 lakhs. There are other ways of getting scholarship like defence based scholarship etc. For specially abled persons LPU offers free study courses to them. For poor person LPU give financial assistance and loan with no interest upto 5 years. Since, I am fresher so I haven't got any job but job placement are great in lpu with upto 90% placement rate with an average package of 5 LPA.
Campus Life
LPU hold many national and international competition and events in the campus in which the students can participate. LPU's have 3 Library with an huge centeral library with more than 10000+ books in it which is accessible to all the students for free. Students can issue them for a week and later on re-issue it if they need it. LPU has many social clubs which students can join and host programs to get duty leaves. Also, hosting some programs offers them good comission an an bonus for their hard-work. Students can even cretae their own club or group if they are that much talented and extraordinary. Students also get funding who are interested in entrepreneurship.
Admission
First of all, I wanna walkthrough you all with my university name and basic details i.e. Lovely Professional University is one of the best private university in all over the India which is NAAC+ accredited with a score of 3.68 which is highest ever for a private university. LPU offers a variety of coursesin all the fields like agriculture, cse, business, arts , microbiology etc. LPU also reserves seats for specially abled persons and Individual belonging to poor family who are talented and want to achieve something. LPU conducts its own entrance exam i.e. LPU NEST on the basis of which it takes admission and procides scholarship to students. Students can also got scholarship on the basic of competitive exams like JEE, NEET, MHT CET, CUET etc. Fees is nearly ?120000 per sem which get reduced on the basis of scholarship student secured in any of the following examinations. ***Everything is hassle free and admission process is to easy in LPU as there are 24/7 running helpline is there.
