Remarks

Overall the college management has to be improved otherwise the college will face many trouble in future as the college management is very lazy department and takes much time to solve the queries of the students otherwise overall college is good with average infrastructure.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE exam and scored 150th rank overall and then I got selected to this college . There was a small interview process conducted and then the students were divided into groups for group discussion.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course consists of 3 main subjects physics,chemistry,maths and practical learning is there in the college for each subject. Mainly practical labs sessions divided into various topics and teachers as well.

Internships Opportunities

Internship program is not officially appointed by the college and if the student wants to go for internships whetehr summer or winter internship the student can directly apply from outside.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement cell of the college is above average and the student get placed with an average package of approximately 5-6 lakh per annum . No major companies visit the college but some companies like surya computers , technoplastic etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is affordable and not that expensive also.Fees can be paid in installments. 75,000 Rs is yearly fees. The course is of 4 years so the fees total upto 3 lakh.

College helps in getting student loans and the interest rate is charged minimal .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls.There are double sharing , triple sharing rooms avaialable.

Alumni network of the college is above average not very good.

Exam Structure

Exams are a chill culture in the college. It does not make students feel tired.

Faculty

Faculties are much qualified and experienced with a experience of more than 8+ years in the same field in which they have exceled. Interactive sessions are held for the students on a frequent basis .

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Likes

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Dislikes

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including
Must of faculty members are belongs to home state

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.
