Likes

Campus environment is good. Like its 650 acers campus.
Faculties here are very supportive and teaches very well
Infrastructure is the most beautiful here.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria i.e 75%. I don't like it.
There are too much students here so it is like crowded.
There are many exams we have to give time to time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because there is vast scope in computer science in future and in the coming time computer engineers would be in demand. Faculty student ratio is good like there is a faculty on around 60-70 students. Some faculty members are like gem they have many degrees and years of experience on board but there are many new faculties but overall the teaching is good and they are teaching like up to mark. Every 4th month we are having our end term exams. If we study regularly and each and every subject then it is not very difficultdifficult to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are opportunities for internships but I am not having correct knowledge about that but there are internship in our college. If we are having a good project then only we can get internship otherwise it is difficult.

Placement Experience

After 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that visits our university like Google, Amazon, flip kart, Adobe, etc. Around 60-70% are getting placed. I want a job after studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here is bit on a higher like 2,40,000 per year. But students can get scholarship based on there board exams or university is taking a test for scholarship i.e LPUNEST, so according to the results they are getting scholarship. There are some on campus jobs like in the communication department they also pays.

Campus Life

The campus life is very chill at LPU as students are there in from all of the India and from abroad aslo. There is annual fest i.e is one world which is like whole world is one. There are many clubs and societies in which students can take part like NCC, NSS these are government one and there are many others like Google cloud club, AWS club and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are also good like we have a study table, chair fans collers, AC, geyser etc. The mess is on a bit average side. We can get Hostel through the UMS i.e university website. If I rented a room or pg I will be living in law gate.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

There is no such criteria for admission like the basic only like aggregate 60? in physics, chemistry and maths. Many of my friends were studying in here so they sent me the website from where I got the application form. There is a test by which we can grab a good scholarship I. LPUNEST exam. I also got 38% scholarship.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
