I liked faculty and the studious enviornment.
I also liked the campus as I get to interact with many new people everyday.

Dislikes

Classes are very far from main gates as I am a day scholar I have to walk a great length and it gets me tired.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose btech cse because I have been always in technical things and I wanted to explore it more deeply. About faculty and student ratio I don't know much about because I haven't faced any problems regarding this. All the faculties which are teaching me are good except there are some exceptions because there accent is not that good so sometimes I have hard time to understand what they are saying. Overall they are good. I think term exams should have some more space between there times because sometimes it gets hard for us students to give exams so frequently. Passing in the exam is not that hard if you focus in your class during lectures.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about this as I am a first year student but I know this that many big companies like Google, Infosys and Microsoft etc. comes to college to give internship opportunities to students.

Placement Experience

I am actually a first year student but I know that you start getting placed in your third year and for that you have to maintain a good cgpa and also make CVs which are appropriate and have chances of getting approved. We have a placement drive cell which handles placements and their records so you can ask your doubts from there also, you can there number from official website of Lovely Professional University.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is provided during the admission phase and opportunity for scholarship is given on many basis like if you are from defense background or if you had scored well in jee and also they conduct their own exam of which you can find the details on lpunest. Also our college provides financial assistance but I haven't researched much about that.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is top-notch. You get the chance to interact with many kinds of people and there is always some kind of event or fest going on so you can have some fun, enjoyable and informative experience. There are also libraries available on campus where you can find books regarding your courses and you can also issue them for use. Classrooms are also great. You can find many LinkedIn and social group on internet so go and check it out for better understanding of what kind of events undergo in our university.

Admission

Eligibility of the course was just having 75 % aggregate in subject physics chemistry math in non medical stream and also opted with English subject. You can find all the details regarding registration and application forms from the official website of Lovely Professional University. If you have reserved your seat your priorly then you will be given particular extended amount of time to pay your fees. Admission process is not so complex so I don't think there is any need to improve anything, regardless of all this you must first visit the campus and experience everything yourself.

Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
