Remarks

The infrastructure was good with completely centralized Wi-Fi and AC. Compared to other universities, the food quality was good. I didn't face any issue in the hostel. Gym and sports facility were available in and outside of the college.

Entrance Preview

I have got an admission in to this college by convenor Seat.I secured a a good rank.No there was no interview process for me after getting the admission into this college.I took this course based on my knowledge regarding the computer language. I myself want to develop a separate app so I took this course

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course that I took is really nice and helpful to me to learn the computer language. Many a times i really do hardworking to work on the programs.I want to focus mainly on the practical knowledge than the theory based knowledge. There are no any research initiatives going in our institution.

Internships Opportunities

The internship will be provided for the students for many of the students who are studying in this campus. For every year at average of 90% undertake the internship program with good knowledge. The average stipend amout given was around 18k for one month.Good experience will be developed.

Placement Experience

3.5

20% are those who weren't eligible to sit. Mostly, IT companies visit our campus, so there is a maximum number of chances to be placed in an IT company. The package depends on one's performance and the company. The maximum package was 7 LPA to 9 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I got concession of good amout towards my tuition fee which I felt very happy.I am paying a total amount of rupees 20000 towards my tuition fee.I am affordable to pay this money.I am also paying getting some amout of rupees as a merit scholarship

Faculty

3.5

The experience with the faculty was good, and it depends on the relationship with our faculty and their guided teachers. The teaching method depends on the faculty. We get an industry exposure.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
