College management encourages the students in extracurricular activities.
The greenary and pleasant atmosphere throughout the campus.

Dislikes

The college roads are not good for using bikes.
Every year intake of more students so the placement opportunities may decrease.
It is so far for the south students.so they cannot meet their family members frequently.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good as compared to other colleges.Faculty members are phd scholars and friendly with the students. A mentor will be allotted for every 10 students. The teachers are good and inspiring.Exams were objective and negative marks will be there and the exam is moderate to pass.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Placement Experience

Due to recession the placements were decreased as compared to previous years. but management is trying to get more opportunities for the students. The highest package is about 3CRpa. I have decided to get job in the college placement. The companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft,TCS,Wipro .....etc will come to hire the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I joined through entrance exam I got 21% scholarship for the fee .presently I am paying 98000 per semester.Scholarship will be provided by the college and there is a financial assistance in the college. The fees will be based on the entrance exam LPUNEST result.

Campus Life

SENBURN,is the major fest happened in 2023 for four days. The mini events will be conducted every weekend. There is a big library consists of 5floors with 10000+books. The college management will encourage the students in extracurricular activities and sports. There are many clubs which are helpful for the students to improce their skills and knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

There is no problem with electricity and water facility. More number of variety food items in the mess. The hostel fees is at affordable price and the food is also good. There is place named lawgate and green valley contains many pg's near to the college

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

I have joined this college through the entrance exam named LPUNEST conducted by the university to give scholarship and admission to the students. The minimum percentage to get admission is to have 60% in plus2 .you can apply for this entrance exam in LPU official website.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
