Course Curriculum Overview

4

I've opted for BT.Tech CSE (AI & ML), I've taken this because it's a very rapidly growing thing in the current industry and If I'll be one of the person to make an AI it would be very helpful and even my job can be guaranteed in the future. Faculty are very widely spread across the University so, there are a lot of different and diverse teaching techniques in the University. The Faculty are extremely qualified and very well behaved and spoken, they always tell us to grow and show us with new pathways and methods all the time to help us build our career. The Exams are of 3 types - CAs, MTE, ETE CAs - are class assessments which are conducted every 15-20 days MTE - Mid term Exams are conducted at the half of the semester which are quite easy to say ETE - End term Exams are at the end of the semester and are quite hard to bring a good score but are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are a lot of startups coming into the University for internship program, they offer the roles of interns and then we can slowly develope in the startup. Some of the start ups are Younity.in Corizon Devtown etc etc

Placement Experience

4

For the 5th semester, There are around 2000 companies coming ever year and this is the biggest University I'm campus placements in India, Highest package is - 60lpa Average package - 8lpa 80% of the students are placed I'll see if I get a high paying job I'll do it orelse I'll do M.S.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for CSE is around 1.5 lakhs per semester which can be reduced by scholarship we can reduce it upto 80k per semester, then the hostel fee is dependent on the room the average fee is 80k per annum, then the average mess/canteen fee is 40k per annum. I personally got scholarship with the exam and no other stipend so I don't kind of know.

Campus Life

3.5

This is one of the biggest Universities out in India, it's filled with numerous buildings, grounds, and many huge infrastructures , it's a 600 acre wide huge University. There are fests and events conducted every single day, there are technical and Non-technical events conducted for 300 days in an year. Talking about University library it's a 6 floor huge building which is very huge and lot of the students spend their time in the library itself. The classrooms are very hi-fi and overall classroom ambience is 8 out of 10. There are a ton of clubs of technical and extra-curricular sports clubs which help students alot Coding Block is one of the top most club - https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/d/e/1FAIpQLSe7Xx2fcEbebry4vUUrVoRrJDaSYhAyzQpqqkd29DVgRvZ9KA/formResponse

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are A.C. and non A.C rooms with 4 members, 2 members and 1 member rooms , there are Appartments in which there is a separate area to cook and store extra resources. Quality of mess food is average but there are a lot of food-stalls available. It's affordable average for mess is 40kpa , for hostel is 80kpa I'm a hostler

Admission

We can apply for any course by either being eligible by Giving the Entrance exam i.e. LPUNEST or we can apply it with the JEE scores according to which we will get a scholarship and we can get into the University, We can find the entire admission process in the official website I.e. admission.lpu.in or Admit.lpu.in. Reservation of the hostels and the early giving of exams results in lower fee criterias and best hostles can be availed so it's better to have an early reservation. The reservation process is actually so good and convinent which is a very great thing to say.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
