Likes

i like campus, food, ground area is very big to play.
i also liked all the facilities given by college.
I liked the robo park area. It looks quite good at night without any crowd.

Dislikes

Overcrowded, hostel price is high, mess food are okayish.
I disliked the very strict hostel rules.
I disliked the faculties teaching method. Also 75% attendance criteria even after 2nd year.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and is updated. And they teach only what is required for students growth. Also some teachers are good, but majority of teachers are just there to recite the ppt. Faculty:student ration is good but could be better. it is around 1:70 in majorly every class. CA's number are more. It should be less. Otherwise mid term and end terms are okay. they can be easily passed. Also, the time-table is very hectic.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are there if you have prepared well for it. I am a first year student so i don't know many things but i have heard good things from seniors. If you prepare well, you can good stipend offers.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester, students become placement ready. Placements are good, companies come, but the competition is very tough since there are many students. So have to be in top 10% to be able to grab a good placement opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not that high but comparing to faculties, study and placements, it should be low. LPUNEST is there for scholarship. U can get maximum upto 30% scholarship there. Financial assistance is there.

Campus Life

Campus life will be good if u have good friends. LPU has nice beautiful campus. But the rush during days is very overcrowded. I strongly think that number of students intake should be lesser. Books are available in library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are quite good but overpriced. I mean for four seater room with AC, you have to give 80k a year. I think it should be less. Talking about the cleanliness, hostel mess food, they are okay. Registration process is also very easy.

Admission

I took admission by giving LPUNEST exam. Anyone who have greater than 95percentile in JEE can directly take admission in LPU. Also, any can direct take admission if they have more than 95% in boards. In LPUNEST, you have to score more than 50% to take B.tech CSE. You can find application form from LPU official website. You can also get good amount of scholarship is have scored good in LPUNEST or JEE or Boards exam.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
