What Students Say

Likes

Things I liked here is the infrastructure of the campus.
I liked the programs conducted by the colleges

Dislikes

The fees for the hostel is too expensive.
There are many students in the campus for btech.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate 8 for the curriculum of LPU They prefer easy learning.provide us all the curriculums which helps us to study up to date. The timetable will be updated too early so that we can prepare for the exam very early.also we can book the tickets for going home by train or flight or else if it is in the last moment we will not get any tickets so we need to go to the hometown by entering in general compartment and it's too horrible. I'm from Kerala and for me it takes two days by train to reach in Kerala. Also they provide many mooc courses so that we can score marks in CAs also we can increase our cgpa and tgpa also they provide the facility of reappear instead of direct backlog. And the facilities in the lab is much important to mention here.I haven't seen any other colleges having this much developed machines here . It's all upto date

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 74400 per year

Placement Experience

The main problem occurs here is the competition. Because there are many students for studying btech computer science and engineering. So that the availability is less.but also there are many companies coming here around 500.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah the scholarship is based on three things . 1- LPU nest scholarship examination 2- Plus two marks 3- Jee results Any of the three if you have a higher result you can get the topmost category I'm in the first category I'm giving 74400 per semester

Campus Life

3.5

The overall experience is awesome. LPU brings us many programs so that we don't get bored in college with only studies . And bring us many workshops for learning many things. Also they provide Coursera accounts so that we can get certificates through that account.

Admission

Yeah, I had an entrance examination called LPU nest. It was conducted online and according to the marks you score in the exam your fees will be fixed. There will be 3 categories. First cutoff - 90% Second cutoff-80% Third cutoff-70%

Supportive faculty and a good learning environment.
Variety of activities and opportunities for overall development.

Dislikes

Some administrative processes can take more time than expected.
The campus can be crowded during peak hours.
Hostel and mess facilities could be improved further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
