Remarks

I would not preferably recommend this college to someone i wish to have a enjoyable college experience. Due to my experience in here. The department is good due to few good staff but they also should have a good management which they lack. Not a good envi

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam taken. I had to take this college as there were very few colleges which had this specialized branch of engineering. ( Like Aeronautical, marine, etc)Nothing much of a interview / screening process. The HR just had a casual talk & said about fees particulars.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum was Good. As the curriculum was set by the governing university ( Anna University ). Though this specilised course did not have its own branch department in university, this was brought under Mechnical department. Most of the faculty of this branch of engineering were Okay. As they were al form the same work environment though not from the core industry. Few were extra-ordinary & few were below average.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was provided away from the college as they college was not equipped for it. This had a negative effect on the students. As an for special courses, these college are considered to have a Lab or some kind of internship environment.

Placement Experience

1.5

When i was studying. No In-college placement & job opportunities. Only scope was the ones conducted by the university. Specialized courses require core industry opportunities which they lack.

College Events

2.5

College events - Not very eventful college, In my 4 years. I had seen very few events like Sports day : Just few sports & games. Definitely not upto mark. Management Festivals : I don't remember of anything Cultural : They had one cultural which i vaguely remember. Definitely something not to remembrance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was as per what college think. They aim was to collect fees as per they negotiate with every individual student while joining. They didnt have a standardized structure. I mean from A to Z, everything were not standardized.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan or scholarship provided. Everything should be arranaged by students then. Now i am not sure.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus was huge. That should be said. Not beautiful but spacy & airy. Coconut trees everywhere, which were irrigated with drainage water. Good part was, you can see one or two peacocks here & there. Labs : labs were ok equipped with most of the machine but not enough numbers. Sports : I was one of the top sportsman in my school days. But i never was self motivated in this college to patiscipate in few that were happening. Competitions : I dont remember anything of that kind. Or nothing was so rememberable.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel is not upto mark. Definitely not a good building structure & environment. They had old & new. Old one was very bad condition, New one was okay but yet, the just outside the hostel, the environment was not maintained. Food was okay. Food was hygieni

Alumni/Alumna

They had alumni programs but it lacked proper governance & interaction. Though it had few alumni announcement but never really connected or reached all students. It was more of like a ritual kind of thing. Which i was ever interested. As i never felt to be a part of it.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was from the anna university, so they cant do much in it. They just followed the structure of university which by itself not very satisfying. So college not had any part in exam structure.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
