What Students Say

Likes

I like the lush green campus and the college .
I like the course syllabus here which is good.
I like the variety of courses it is offering which is more than 140.

Dislikes

I dislike the hectic schedule of the class hours.
I did not liked the practical knowledge it is giving which is equal to none.
I did not liked the motto of a vegetarian campud.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and Engineering is becoming the new normal for everyone now a days. This course offers a deep knowledge of computer softwares and programming languages. The syllabus at LPU is designed according the prresent needs of the field.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has a dedicated placement cell for the placements. Of course LPU brings companies on campus but not all studying here gets placed as the number of students here is very high but it does provide you with opportunities and if you have the calibre you can get it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee here in LPU for CSE is 1.2lakh/sem and then every semester you have to pay 4000 rs for the examination. The scholarship is decided on the basis of your performance in LPUNEST. The scholarship differs from 30% to 10%.

Campus Life

LPU offers an amazing college life with a lush green campus and an unparalled infrastructure. It has vibrant campus life with dedicated sports field for each and every sports you can think of. Also the classrooms are equipped with projectors and smart boards.

Admission

Basically everyone is an eligible candidate for LPU as it is a private institution and has a never ending amount of seat. I appeared for thr entrance test LPUNEST which takes place twice every month is moderately tough and is solely based on CBSE class 11th and 12th and on the basis of the this exam your scholarship is decided.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
