Admission

The admission process was fairly straightforward. I applied to the university online through their official website by submitting my academic transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, and a personal statement. I also had to pay an application fee. I did not have to take any entrance exams as my admission was based on my academic record and other application materials. The university had a cut-off threshold for GPA and test scores, but I met those requirements and was offered admission. One aspect of the admission process that I didn't particularly like was the length of time it took to receive a decision. I had to wait several weeks before I heard back from the university, which made planning for the next academic year a bit challenging. Overall, the application process was smooth, but the waiting period for a decision was the only downside for me.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
