Remarks
In the nutshell College management is poor. Many times dispute occurred due to some decisions taken by management. Many times management does not take necessary action whenever it is necessary.
Entrance Preview
I had not given any entrance test as I was Diploma pass out student. I was admitted as per the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) carried out by Government of Maharashtra Department of Technical Education. As per the state merit list and cast category I got this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the course structure is designed by University of Mumbai. It is more theory based rather than practical based. But the syllabus is now changing as per the industry requirements. There are almost 50 subject including theory and practical to study in four years.
Internships Opportunities
No specific internships are provided. If student is interested then he/she has to apply for internship personally. College will provide the permission letter for this.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided by Government of India. For Other Backwards Category students 50% Fees is waived off. For Scheduled cast, Scheduled Tribe only others fees is to be given and Tution fees is waived off. No such kind of scholarship is available.
Campus Life
Campus life is average. Gender ratio is balanced. No such issue is there. Very few workshop are arranged by college for students. Sports , Technical and Debate competition are not arranged. Students are away from extracurricular activities. Only few students who goes by their own get the chance.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel or mess facility is provided by college. Need to arrange by own for stay. Rooms on rent need to hired for living. Many students come from long distance so it will be better if there is hostel facility. No mess facility is available. Only college canteen is available for the same college timing.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is good enough. Provided necessary help or guidance whenever necessary. Many of the times it's not possible to meet seniors because most of the students and ex students live away from college.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is not so good. Can say it is average. Most of the time electricity is not available due to load shading. So most of the time practical and lab work is just timepass. Theory exams are always hectic due to no electricity. Exam coordinators are very strict and not possible to cheat in exams by anyone but still some times it happens.
Admission
After XII th there is four year degree course. And after Diploma there is three year duration of course. First step is to buy the BE Admission kit from the institute listed on DTE Maharashtra Website. Then after filling the form in 3-4 CAP round according to merit list college is alloted in every stage. Sometimes no college is allotted in round. Then you have to take admission in your given preference.
Faculty
Faculties of college are average. Not up to the mark. Due to less connectivity very few faculties opt to select the college. So most of them are selected as a teacher. So their knowledge and experience is not too good. Most of the time facilities are fresher's.
