Remarks

overall the college is good but the bad remark for me is the evaluation of the papers. the end sem papers are evaluated strictly.

Internships Opportunities

the college doesnt provide any interships. the student have to apply for interships of there own. there are many interships available nowadays. the students of IT andCS get more interships than the other branch student.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell of our college is located on the ground floor of the administrative building, but according to our college reputation, it does not stand well in their work. About the internships, they do not take any initiative to provide internships to the students. Hardly core companies come to our college for the placements. The job we get is only of IT companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Only 5 of our seniors got placed from their batch with a maximum package of 4 LPA. The minimum package is 3.5 LPA.

College Events

4.5

In our college, one major sports event, one cultural fest and one technical fest are organised every year. Kalpana Chawla trophy, which is related to sports is organised in December. Zenith is the cultural fest organised in the late February and Prajwalan, a tech fest is organised in the early March. They spend a lot of money for this events. The students also conduct various clubs like photography, music, dance, drama, art throughout the year. Robotech forum, Baha are the forums in the college which takes part in various technical events in the other colleges. The alumni of the college provide scholarships to the merit students. The college surroundings are quite good, and it charms in the rainy season. The college is lushed with different trees and plants.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fees structure is quite complex in this college. the open student have to pay 70,000 rs per year and the obc student have to pay 56000 rs per year and the reserved category students such as sc student have to pay 2000 approx and st student have to pay 1100 rs approx per year. so i think the fees structure is quite complex .the open student have to pay more money.

Fees and Financial Aid

the scholarships offered is the seimens which is offered on the basis of your marks and yor family annual income. other scholarships offered are the mahadbt which is for the category student such as the obc, sc, st.

Campus Life

2.5

The infrastructure of the college lacks technology. The Wi-Fi facility is available sometimes and sometimes not, but the range of the Wi-Fi is quite short. One has to hinder around the admin building to use Wi-Fi. The labs of the college are quite old, and the equipment doesn't work well. The equipment doesn't allow to take the readings well. The central library of our college is quite good, but the rules of it are disgusting. One cannot study in the library with the issued books. There aren't any medical facilities in our college rather than first aid. Sports and games are quite appreciating in our college. The college organises sports event which almost lasts for a month. Canteen menu is boring. Only junk food is available in the college canteen, and other restaurants are quite far away from the college.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

This year, Boys hostel is renovated. So, its quite good, but the bathrooms are not maintained well. The hostel lacks good Wi-Fi service. The hostel only costs 650 per year, but the hostel facility is only available for the toppers. Electrical and mechanical departments are closed due to the old infrastructure which is about to collapse. We are shifted to the electronics department, which is built recently.

Alumni/Alumna

the college has a great network with the alumni. the college also have a alumni association.every year the 25 year old batch come to our college for the alumni function.the college is well known for the senior junior bonding. every senior is ready to help his junior with their studies or any else work. hostel is the place where this bond generate since the first year students and third years student live in a same hostel.

Exam Structure

the exam structure is such that there are total eight semesters in which each semester have two class test comprising of 15 marks in total and the end semester exam comprises of total 60 marks so the two class test marks 30 and the end semesters marks 60 and also there is 10 marks for teachers assesment which is based on the assingnments.

Admission

the admission in this college where taken by DTE Maharashtra. these involves four CAP round . in first round i filled the option form and i got MIT alandi pune. then i opted for second round then i was fortunate to get this college.the admission in these college was very frustrating. first there was a admission form with so many documents.the most frustrating thing was the anti ragging form which took so much time because they need bond papers.

Faculty

3

The college became autonomous from 2006 and is quite decent in the curriculum. The open students had to pay 70,000 per year for the college even though it is a government college. Some teachers are well qualified, and some are not at all meant for teaching. During the second year of my studies, only one teacher was capable of teaching the curriculum. Teachers have the knowledge, but they fail to teach to us. The teaching quality is not good. We do not get any industry exposure, and the curriculum is only meant to pass the exams. The teaching methods are still old. The teachers did n't take the pain to teach the class. The curriculum of the college is useful for the GATE/GRE aspirants.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
