What Students Say

Likes

All the things are good in college special I like college location
All the faculty are good and well educated and qualified
Placement are also decent on an average good

Dislikes

All the things are good but infrastructure is not that much of good
College timing is bad for day scholars students
Less functions and events occurs in this college which is boring thing at all

Course Curriculum Overview

Course that is opted for me is BTech Cse core course so I have to become a software developer so I'm interested in this course so this college will help me to complete my dream with all efforts that it's all

Class Size: 1500Course Fees: INR 120756 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't know that much of about internship because I'm in BTech first year but our college provides good opportunities and internships for students . Projects and outcomes are good at all and throughout passed process

Placement Experience

In our college placement are decent on average seven to eight lakh per year which is good for a private college over hundred plus companies visit our campus during placement months on an average internship get started from third year and you got placement in 4th year

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a private College so it's a general thing that fee structure is little bit higher not that much of but fee structure is average about one lakh twenty thousand per year . Where some students got scholarships as well according to criteria

Campus Life

It's a bitter truth but this college organises less functions but all the activities go through accordingly and there are many clubs that u can join for activities if you have interest in it such as art , singing, dancing etc

Admission

Admission process is little bit tougher and lengthy process which is good procedure in which many documents are required for your admission like your marksheet and other personal documents etc. I took admission in this College through jee main with aktu counciling in which if u want Cse core branch for b tech then at least u have to score 90 plus percentile in jee

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
