Likes

Campus life is really good here. Sports facilities and events is what that attracts everyone here.
No scene of ragging here the students are safe here is they do any mischief after 3 warnings they are terminated
We have food courts at every places here near the hostels so that we can have fun there.

Dislikes

Some of faculty members are kinda weird they don't teach well
Everything is very expensive here an average individual can't afford that much expense
We have to change hostel after 1 year which is very difficult for us

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in the field of computer language so I have chosen this course Logic building, Coding skills, and decision-making prepare you for real-world applications. Everything is fine I like the teaching methods.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 172800 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like IBM, Google cloud, Bosch, etc. offer internships with stipends according to LPU because I am in 1st year so don't know much. Projects like AUTOEXPO, village development project with govt. Of Punjab, solar-powered cars, etc.

Placement Experience

After 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro etc. these are the companies visited here. Highest is upto 3Cr and average is around 8 lakhs per annum. Almost 90 percent of the students get placement here. My plan after getting degree is to make my own ecosystem with the help of AI.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for btech cse is 1lakh 20 thousand and depending upon the scholarship the fees get lowered other charges depend on the examination fees which are around 4000 per sem and if you opt for hostel and mess they include their charge. Depending upon when you have given the LPUNEST they give scholarships it is of 30 percent in the starting when it gets late it will get lowered after every month till the registration closes. I haven't taken any employment till now and no stipend has been provided

Campus Life

The campus life is soo good here!! Hackathons, events like music fest, tech fest held almost every month here. All kind of books and journals are available in the library. Teachers teach with the help of PPT projected on the board CCTV are everywhere so no one can cheat or use a phone etc. This college is known for their sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus they are outstanding. Student can make their own clubs and we can take part in those host events.

Hostel Facilities

I have a 4 seater room and environment here in the hostel is nice no scene of ragging and that kind of stuff. Meal is sometimes good sometimes average. It includes north and south Indian dishes. All the registration process can be done at the time of admission process on LPU website.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

The admission process at LPU consists of an LPUNEST exam followed by an interview. The eligibility criteria vary depending on the course. You can find the application form, application fees, and application dates on the LPU website. North-East applicants are provided with 5 percent relaxations in the qualifying exam. The Lpu nest exam is conducted multiple times a year. You can choose according to you. They should improve that they should have the same difficulty level of the exam at every state they vary a lot depending upon the places you live

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
