I belong to chandigarh, getting admission in Panjab University is one of the best thing. Moreover, education is very cost effective. I only filled its form since it was dream to study in it as the competition was indeed intense and very hectic to get in

Great. One of the best i would say, only two classes were there in day and both included around 1.5 hours each. It was actually easy for us as we could digest or sink in the knowledge we were getting in. Had a great time in university for sure.I had in total 6 semesters for a span of 3 years and l loved it to the core

Internships were not that compulsory and i believe department of laws need a lot of improvement in that sector. Only basic internship was there which was compulsory one week court visit.

This is a deep concern in department of laws, panjab university lacks placement cell and there were zero opportunities provided after the degree. We were eagerly waiting for the companies to come and visit us which dint happend at all . It is a depe concern in panjab university and we felt it right away when we were over from our degree.

Agaaz which was a musical event where many singers came in and we had a great day. Freshers party were also part of event where each and everyone was dressed greatly, we had great food and did a lot of dance College farewells which were sad but were greatly organised by the college authorities

Feasible i will say . At my time i did my law within a bracket of 30,000 rs including all the semester fees . I have heard fee structure has been revised now but I dont have much id3a about it. Still panjab university is known for its less fees oriented courses.

I have no idea about it. But i would love to know one . Yes there were reserved categories for SC or ST tribe

Sports activities were lot.you can participate in many events , state level or national level players were part of panjab university only.Extracurricular activities include participation in declamation contest , blood donation camps and university elections

I was a localite and had visited hostel not that much but yes i do had food a lot of times . I cant say much about mess as well for the same reason i have mentioned . But yes food was indeed cheap , you could have a rajma chawal plate for 30rs only which was a steal deal

I dont believe so .I am an alumni but i dont feel there is anything like alumni network culture in our department

Semester wise. After each semester, we were supposed to give written test of different subjects we chose. We were also suppose to submit a lot of assignments and viva was also important to give. Moreover attendance was also important criteria in exam sitting.if a person dint have required he wasnt allowed to sit in.

I went for OCET which was the entrance test of doing law in panjab university. After results coming in, we got our merit list. Our graduation marks were also counted for merit list. After that each candidate was asked for his preference for morning batch or evening batch. I opted for morning batch . After signing it , process was done.

Faculty waa fine.Every professor was very well informed about his subject. Everyone has their favourite teacher and even I had one. I believe punjab university actually invest a lot in their faculty members since all the teachers we had in our semesters did a great job.
