What Students Say

Likes

I liked the college campus. It is quite big.
The classes are quite big and teachers are quite good too.
The guy and other facilities are lovely too.

Dislikes

Teacher are good but they apply umc for small stuff.
The guards are quite strict and sometimes make me angry.
Gym equipments are quite rusty and need work

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to code.My family members are also in technical industry. My brother and uncle work in Infosys and jio.Along with that I had my hopes to become a web developer. So I think I am doing CSE to become a good developer.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is mostly same for the BTech, but the scholarship for the courses is different. It might not be much is CSE but it is more in courses like electronic engineering and other courses.Tge college provide support and stuff also.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is good , study is hard and all buti don't really do clubs and stuff but I guess my friends do it and they that stuff is quite good also. The buildings are quite big and can't even see all the college in a day.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is quite good. You get quite a good room with AC or non AC. The workers come every alternate day to clean the room. The food here good sometimes, sometimes bad but the overall experience is not bad.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The admission process wasn't that difficult. To be honest if you are a good student who scored well in jee or cuet , your chances to get the college seat along with a good scholarship is quite high.If not u can give an entrance exam. After scoring well u can get the seat. After getting the seat u are called for the admission stuff, you bring your pics, documents and stuff and get in line with other guys to get ur admission complete. The process was quite smooth and it didn't took much time.It was quite a fun experience.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
