Course Curriculum Overview

The course and ciruuculum here goes very well and the only problem we face with is multiple number of internal assessments which is considered 50 percentage to our grade. so we can't neglect them and has to suffer to clearing them

Fees and Financial Aid

No will be very less chance for scholarships and other things but the fee is comparatively better when compared to other universities like vit, srm etc we pay around 75000 every semester and hostel fees are excluded from it.

Campus Life

Social aspects is not bad but social life is campus is comparatively poor and when we come to fests and other extra curricular activites it is so poor and no sources of fun here.Clubs and interactive programs are good

Admission

The admission process for sastra University starts in the month of March and you apply to it by either Inter public score or else with jee score.The seat allotment will be almost around in the month of June after all the counsellings of other universities got over

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for.
