The management is good, good canteen facility. But it should try managing the admission process properly in an orderly fashion as there was a huge mess during admissions because all 500 students gathered at the same time else it was good.

I opted for J.D Birla Institute affiliated to Jadavpur University because it is the 2nd best college for Bcom honors with good and well knowledge academicians.J.D Birla provides you a wide range of facilities, trying to prepare students to excel in the outside world. It prepares you right from the beginning the way how should one present her/himself in front of the recruiters. It teaches proper ethics and discipline, for which its very well known for.JDBI is one of the best in Kolkata.

The course curriculum is very nice, JDBI offers five subjects in b.com honors including mathematics, financial accounting,multimedia lab,ict in business, principles of management having separate good teachers for each. The course curriculum is absolutely perfect for the course opted.it is very important to have knowledge about the above subjects..in the 3rd year the college avails specialization in 3 subjects such as finance, marketing,hr.

Yes, it provides internship, your chances to get an internship increases because of the reputation of the college, the college tries to prepare you for such job interviews right from the 1st semester.

Placement is very good, students from this institute perform very well in the outside world. As I'm a first-year student I'm not very sure about how many companies come for recruitment.. but last year Wipro was there for the placement. the placement scenario is very well but only after one completes their master's degree. after masters degree 9lacs is the average package amount. generally it is tough for people to get jobs after doing their B.com

The fees structure is quite expensive. the admission fee was something around 86000, with monthly fees as 5000 with includes the lab fee, library fees and so on. The fees structure is according to the courses offered.

Sports is held every year in the latter half of the year Students take a lot of part in extracurricular such as dance, singing, debate,the external board, working under nss, Lab facilities are provided which has 2 computer labs, nutrition lab and so on. students to take part in competitions

I am from Kolkata so I dont live in the hostel..so no idea But the canteen food is good enough, it is edible at a reasonable price The college has received an award for nutrition.there are also diet charts provided by the college for better health.Being a resident of Kolkata, I didn't need to stay in a hostel or PG. There is a variety of PGs near the college and they have options for single rooms and sharing and other facilities and they charge accordingly.

Senior students are very helpful, they help you a lot in every activity or sport or in studies. They guide you whenever you need help

Firstly an admission form is to be filled correctly.Then group interview dates will be assigned where the students need to reach by the time alloted.The documents are verified.Once the documents are verified,a group of 5-6 students are called by the proffesors of the college.The students are asked some questions relating to the subject opted for.After they qualify the interview,the forst metit list is taken out showing the students selected.The admission fee has to be paid within 24 hours through NEFT/RTGS and a undertaking is to be made stating few college rules. After the submission of the above and proper verification of all the documents,ADMISSION is done.

Faculty of the college is good.there are 19 teachers in the department of commerce and many more in the other departments. The faculty members have also won various awards. I am enjoying college life to it's fullest with an amazing bunch of friends and a lot of interesting subjects. I am happy to be part of this college.
