What Students Say

Likes

Course curriculum is updated frequently.
Campus life is best. Like jannat bss you have to walk soo much

Dislikes

High intake of incapable , uninterested students

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B.Tech Course Curriculum: - Relevance and Comprehensiveness: The curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, covering essential topics in depth. - Influential Aspects: Specific aspects like practical projects, industry internships, and up-to-date technologies influenced your decision to choose this course. - Real-world Preparation: The curriculum effectively prepares you for real-world applications through hands-on experiences and industry collaborations, setting a strong foundation for further academic pursuits or entering the workforce. Areas for Improvement: While the curriculum is already strong, improvements could focus on incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends more dynamically, and enhancing teaching methods to promote more interactive learning experiences. Exams: The frequency and timing of exams are high That don't give time for self improvement.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

From college side they do provide proper opportunities for internship. One must be capable enough to crack the company. The placement cell tries their best to make sure that every student should be placed in a good company.

Placement Experience

Talking about placements....if someone student then they will definitely get on campus placement with a good package. From college side they do their best. And it's completely visible. But as a huge chunk of people don't even know how to turn off the pc and they are expecting good packages doesn't get package and reduces the avg package and this also defames college after the pass out.

Fees and Financial Aid

Getting scholarship is so easy. LPUNEST is easy for you if you know the basic concepts of higher school. Maximum you can get 40% scholarship from LPUNEST. There are many other ways too for scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus life is best if you want to enjoy your college life. Frequency of events are very high and also if you are an extrovert than its the best place for you. Talking about library - University states that it is the biggest library in North. Well that is true....the library has 5 floors and all are well furnished and the environment is best for productivity.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is good but the mess food is not that great. In the sem start they give good food but gradually the reduce the quality of food. Although there are options for meals like you can have 2 meals/ day , 3 meals / day and Max is 4 meals / day.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

Talking about Btech getting admission in any branch is easy. Majority of the students prefer CSE. LPU has its own entrance exam named LPUNEST. Scholarship and entrance is completely dependent on that exam. Although there are many other ways too for scholarship. The form for the entrance exam has a fee and there are many coupons you can find online for discount.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
