MY COLLEGE IMSEC REVIEW

All the cources and subjects involved in the curriculum are very relevant, comprehensive and very advanced for the current generation. All the students are given various opportunities to learn all kind of subjects, irrespective of their branches. For example, students pursuing BTech in biotechnology are taught technical and computer based subjects liks C, python and Data science. Which is, in my opinion is a very crucial and important step taken by such colleges.

Many internship opportunities are provided to the students from third year itself. For this our teachers and CDC department help us a lot. And due to their guidance we are able to grab good internship opportunities. Ultimately, it gives us work experience which further help us later in our career. They also prove NOC (no objection certificate) for internships in different cities.

Great placement and internship opportunities are provided to the students from third year itself. The average package is about 800000rs per annum and almost each and every student gets placed by the end of 4th year. In adverse situations, if in case any student doesn't get in campus placement, proper guidance and preparation for off campus placement is provided. People in the placement cell are very understanding and supportive. The highest package was once 50lakhs per annum where Microsoft appointed three of our brightest students. Hence, over-all placements and internship opportunities are decent.

Total fees for BTech program is about 135000 per year. Which is, in my opinion is very genuine and relevant for the current scenario. College facilities also provide books and copies every semester. Students belonging from financially weak background, are allowed to pay the total fees in part. That is, part paymey. Many scholarships are also given to financially weak students.

Many technical and cultural fests take place throughout the academic year in the college campus. These events give opportunity to students to enjoy as well as to learn. Competitions like singing, dancing, poetry etc help showcase their talents. Every year, there is celebration called celebrity night for all the students of the college, where some celebrities are invited to showcase their talents. So, with academic, college also takes care of students enjoyment and refreshment.

Hostel is absolutely hygiene and clean with availability of nutritious food. Water available is clean. Every festival is celebrated with enthusiasm. Each and every room and washroom is cleaned atleast twice a day. Food provided in mess is delicious and very healthy. Menu is changed, every once in a while to provide nutrition of seasonal vegetables to students. Canteen facility inside the hostel is available till mid night for mid hunger of students studying at night. Over-all, hostels are very peaceful and worth living.

The entire admission process was extremely easy and smooth. People in admission cell were very cooperative and supportive. Students can also take direct admission without appearing in any competative exams. Students also get many scholarships on the basis of their performance in 10th and 12th standard. All the staffs and faculty members were also very friendly and helpful. Even the application forms were easy to fill. Over-all, the entire process was easy for any new comer.

From the very first year itself, students are trained to give interviews and perform group discussions. Many type of personality development programs are also conducted for the personality development of students. Mock interviews and written tests for aptitude are organised for students' benifit. All these programs ultimately enhance the confidence and self esteem of each and every student.
