Staff is very good and cooperative. They help students.
Rooms of hostels are good and facilities is also good
Separate mess for different hostels which is good

Dislikes

Common washroom int he hostel ia the disadvantage
Lots of bihar people is there very unhygienic
Lots of outsiders other than in state students

Course Curriculum Overview

I am persuing BBA here. I have opted for this course because I have my father's business that's the main reason I have opted it. No improvements needed .Teachers and staff is very helping and cooperative. No entrance exam.

Class Size: 89Course Fees: INR 101950 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Very good staaf . Lot of opportunities for the students. Overall college is very good. In the college, SC and ST quota is also available. No pressure on the students . Teachers are good and help students in their work.

Campus Life

Very frequent fests happens here . In the month of april,college organises its biggest fest. All types of study books is available in the central library of the university Sports team are also good and cooerative

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel there are three types of rooms available 1) Single bed room with one almirah 2) Double bed rooms for duo with 2 almirah 3) Triple bedroom for 3 people Meal quality is moderate here. Not so good not so bad. Registration can be done during admission process. Nearby lot of pg is available .

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Mininmum 75% in 12th board. Application form can be seen on their official website. No entrance exam only on the basis of CUET and 12th scores. Admission process is very slow. All the students have to wait for 1 or 2 months to receive college's response.

Likes

i liked the overall vibe of the campus when i was there
Contractual teachers who come for some time
the college is autonomous and which creates difference

Dislikes

commerce department faculty is not too understanding

the subjects are interesting to learn, some teaching methods should be changed because of their traditional approach , they should adapt to change the assessment exams are in every month difficulty easy and final exams after every 6 months

Brief Review of This College

Likes

Our Library is well-stocked with academic books and research journals.
Active sports culture, especially cricket. Many tournaments are held in the college.
Mentorship support. Some Professors and seniors offer valuable mentorship.

Dislikes

Delay in Administrative Processes. Administration is often slow and disorganised
Limited Canteen Safe and Menu and food options are not healthy.
Lack of placement in most of the courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well in terms of theory but weak in terms of practicality. The curriculum can be improved by adding some practical activities, which might give students real world experience.

My two and half years.

Likes

Honestly I liked support in sports and the development of sports in college.
I like the teachers, and there teaching style it's unique ie. practically.
And I like the environment, faculty members, staffs and hods are vese warming in nature and very supportive.

In my clg all is good and I don't think there should be a need of change , if there is any we will manage by my self . And exams are of 3 hr which is equivalent to the exam .and my teachers come from far away and I respect there dedication towards us . Thats why I give 5 star.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
