What Students Say

Likes

Most of all things I like the environment in we the teachers teach us .
Also like how all the things are coordinated and the classes never clash with each other
Climate is also very good and the weather

Dislikes

The nearest town is very far so it’s very difficult for us to shop nearby
The distance between the boys hostel to the department is quiet far and we have to reach their on foot
Students have very bad attitude toward other students

I have opted BBA + integrated MBA it's quiet an popular course which a student can do it's an business course it will help student to develop overall mind in business well it's quiet an good and big university but certain part of the university need improvement like sports complex (new infrastructure and sports equipment) gym ( new machines ) and also the difficulty level of the exams are like so moderate and I think it is because of the good teaching techniques that the teaches have

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 101950 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Collage fees is very nominal and quite cheap as compared to other management colleges and there is no hikes and fee increase policy which makes SMVDU different from other colleges. Where in other management college fees are above 2 lakhs for one year here at SMVDU fees is around 1 lakhs

Campus Life

The overall experience of my collage life was like moderated many annual and technical festivals held mostly every month such as dandiya nights , dance competition , singing competition , science fairs etc Their is also a big central liberary available for all from which we can issue any book of our choice the technology used in class rooms are very futuristic like smart boards for teaching purposes their are also my sports and extracurricular activities that are offered on campus in which we can participate.

Admission

The admission process was very easy and the staff that help us through the process was very cooperative I have given test of cuet and opted this university because it was best university in city you can find all the details related to application form application fees and all the dates on smvdu smarth portal

The College Life

Likes

i liked the overall vibe of the campus when i was there
Contractual teachers who come for some time
the college is autonomous and which creates difference

Dislikes

commerce department faculty is not too understanding

the subjects are interesting to learn, some teaching methods should be changed because of their traditional approach , they should adapt to change the assessment exams are in every month difficulty easy and final exams after every 6 months

Brief Review of This College

Likes

Our Library is well-stocked with academic books and research journals.
Active sports culture, especially cricket. Many tournaments are held in the college.
Mentorship support. Some Professors and seniors offer valuable mentorship.

Dislikes

Delay in Administrative Processes. Administration is often slow and disorganised
Limited Canteen Safe and Menu and food options are not healthy.
Lack of placement in most of the courses.

The course curriculum is well in terms of theory but weak in terms of practicality. The curriculum can be improved by adding some practical activities, which might give students real world experience.

My two and half years.

Likes

Honestly I liked support in sports and the development of sports in college.
I like the teachers, and there teaching style it's unique ie. practically.
And I like the environment, faculty members, staffs and hods are vese warming in nature and very supportive.

In my clg all is good and I don't think there should be a need of change , if there is any we will manage by my self . And exams are of 3 hr which is equivalent to the exam .and my teachers come from far away and I respect there dedication towards us . Thats why I give 5 star.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
