I choose this because of my emerging curosity towards physics I got a lot to learn there about physics deeply and the course designing here is also very good and the teaching staff and professors here are also very cooperative and understanding

The internship opportunities are amazing here many popular and International companies like Google, tata ,Microsoft come here to offer various job opportunities and the placement programmes are held on the basis of skills not the grades

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee here is not very expensive one can afford the course here and the scholarship scheme is per semester only the top 3 students get scholarship on the basis of their sgpa and the amount they get in scholarship is same as tuition fee

Campus Life

The overall experience here is amazing one can join different clubs like art music boxing different kinda sports and the books are easily available in library and the aura of overall campus is really good

The hostel facility is good we get an almirah a bookshelf a study table and full day power supply and a fan in the room and the food in mess is overall good sometimes there are ups and downs but the overall experience in hostel is amazing

Admission

The overall admission process was very smooth and I filled the smvdu form and I got admission there on my 12th grade basis there was no hindrance during admission process. The registration form was on official website of smvdu and the website interface was also simple there was no difficulty finding any links or something and exams there are after every month

sp college:the beginning of my adult life

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course starts from basic mechanics and goes all the way to astrophysics it basically sets your base for doing wonders in all branches of physics be it astro physics quantum physics or classical physics. the areas which i want my college to improve is in the digitization of course and integration of technology in the teaching method

I want to do pursue the BSc in zoology because I liked the like that however is the additional additional subjects that are given with the zoology under the new education policy are not good at all I struggle for the most part of my education like with my Hindi subject I didn't want to learn Hindi but I had to because it was an obligatory subject to pursue. Exams are medium level but they happen quite of you every third month

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Course Curriculum Overview:

Information technology was my interest based course that I opted in.. but when I saw the course syllabus it was old & theoretical based, lacks new & fresh syllabus would not guarantee job. Course could be better if newly updated syllabus would be include. Despite having smartboards no one is teaching on them or talking about using them.. Exams & syllabus Easy because of old curriculam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has useful subjects that prepare you for real world application however the elective courses could use a better curriculum. The teaching methods of professors are very effective and interest inducing. We have 2 minor exams and 1 major exam at the end of the semester.

College has less number of college transport vechiles. Toilets and other infrastructure is not upto standard. Cafeteria area is small. Sports ground is not so maintained. Classrooms are not smart. More staff is needed.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
