Guide of LPU

The aspect of having changes continously in the curriculum with respect to the coding languages that are taught in the classes influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum prepares us for the real world as there in continous practicals and assessments that gives us a glimpse of the industry challenges. I would suggest the college add some guided projects that will enable us more to improve our resume too from semester 1 itself. The frequency and timing of the test are very good and comfortable for the students.

Students Counselor in LPU itself and the stipend is around 10K pm. Software intern at Infotech LPU with a similar stipend of 13k Apart from that, the placements cell also provides us with a lot of opportunities for getting a internship out of the college with a good stipends.

The Placement cell of our college is really hard to call out new companies every year. This year some companies backed out of the placements. but all in all the students who studied hard and worked on their skills got the placrements very well. This year till now around 78 % students are placed. My plans after getting a degree is to find a good package job.

The Tution fees does not increase once the admission letter is generated . the fees written on the admission letter in final and it cannot be changed throughout the whole course duration. there are a lot of Financial assisstance and scholarships that are provided by the university like LPUNEST, Defense quota, Sports Quota etc. There are a lot of opportunities for students to work part-time and they are paid too like I did a job of student counselor and was given 13k per month.

LPU is known for its fest culture, it has an event on daily basis and it really promotes technical and non technical events and festivals daily. The books are available of every course and apart from course books the books from other writers are there too both fiction and non fiction. Each Classrooms are fitted with projectors and proper lights fans and Air Conditioners. The college promotes sports on a very large scale and we always mostly win in both inter college and national level sports competitions.

I have taken a 3 seater AC room and the facilities are really good like 24 hrs WIFI and cleanliness is also maintained in the hostels. The rooms are cleaned 3 times in a week. Regarding the mess, we are provided with a lot of packages like the 2 meal course, 3 meal course, north indian, south indian, rajasthani etc the electricity is also free upto a limited units like for me it is 750 units and it is really offordable.

The eligiblity of the course was Pass 12th with 60% and we can do the whole application process online at lpu.in. We can give the LPUNEST twice and the timings are very reasonable and we can do the selection by our own. To prepare for the LPUNEST one should just pursue the NCERT and we can easily clear the exam.
