Likes
- The crowd of my college is excellent as i was expecting very less from my college as it is in south campus but the crowd here is very friendly and kind. Anyone can make good friends in our college.
- Infrastructure of pur college is another thing that i like in our college. Great seminar rooms with comfortable seats and smart boards with great flooring. Faculty is very good teachers here are very polite and knowledgeable.
- The most important thing that i like is the shack area and canteen. The food here is very tasty and hygienic. The variety of food here is also good. North indian, chinese and italian are available here.
Dislikes
- The campus area is very small. I expected it to be big. As compared to other colleges and universities it is somewhat small.
- Other thing i disliked is that are campus is under construction which is also a good thing that it is under development and in future the students will get more facilities and great infrastructure but for now it is not good for present students.
- One thing else that i disliked is there are very less festival seasons. More fun fests should be organised with renowned artists.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate my course 8/10 because: 1) The aspects that influenced me for chosing this course were its applicability in real life, skill enhancement, practical learning, the subjects it involved, placements, value of the degree etc. 2) The course is very helpful in preparing us for real life problems and also for job perspective. It clearily specifies how problems are found , analysed and solved. 3) More modern methods can be used for teaching purposes and improvement in infrastructure would be good. 4) The duration of exams is 3 hrs and the difficulty level varies between moderate to high.
Fees and Financial Aid
1) The tuition fees for one yr is ?13054 which is really affordable as conpared to other universities and according to the facilities and study level it is very reasonable. 2) The total fees of the course is around 50k and every semester you have to fill a examination form and submit examination fees which varies from 1000 to 1500 according to the subjects chosen by the students. 3) There is no scholarship schemes in pur college but financial is provided to the weaker section of people. 4) I have taken part in socities such as yes and rotaract.
Campus Life
The festivals and fests that are held in our college: 1) Divyotsav : The navratre and diwali fest usually in the month of november 2) Societal fests : for example orenda of yes and many more annual fests of societies in the month of april All the books and journals that are recommended by the teachers are available in the library. The quantity is also good as compared the nimber of students and also the latest editions are available of all the renowned writers. Our college also have smart classes and great infrastructure in various classes with confortable seats. There is no problems related to electricity or uncomfortable seats. So overall facilities and technological provisions are great. Sports and extracurricular activities is also good. Our college has good quality cricket pitch and football ground in great condition which is monitored regularly by the officials. The basketball court and tennis court are also there. Admission
Eligibility criteria for the course: 1) Must be a 12th passout 2) Must opt for the subjects opted in 12th in cuet 3) Subjects considered for bcom (h) : Accountancy+ business studies+ evonomics + language subject ( english or hindi) Application form, application fees can be found on csas portal and the samarth site provided by du. One shift of examination is of 3hrs in which 3 subjects are invluded 1hr or 45 min each according to the guidelines. The difficulty level of the exam is easy to moderate. Areas for improvement : 1) Site can be more user friendly. 2) What is required during exam should be clearily specified. 3) Exam centres should be improved
