Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing bcom h and I feel the course is very relevant. I would rate it 8/10. Management and accounting were the aspects of the curriculum which influenced my decision to opt for this course. Tally part of accounts is an example of the curriculum which helps us to prepare for the real world. Teaching methods can be improved if subjects are taught in a more practical way. I feel the frequency of exams is apt at present but difficulty level of a few subjects can be eased out a bit which should be considered.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of the college was 13000+/yr. Hikes don't happen quite often, but the last hike was 2 years ago. There are many scholarships available for economically weaker sections of students. A few scholarships are given worth 54k per year till graduation.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is one of the best in the university. There are regular improvisation happening in the campus. Smart classrooms are built. There are many computer and geography labs in the campus. Sports equipments are adequately available. There are many students run societies and groups available in the college as well which help the students in any possible way.

Admission

Admission process was very smooth. Application and admission process were conducted in multiple phases. I expected the CUET cut off to be around 700-720. But it was higher than that for my course. All applications forms were available in the DU official website. Exams are conducted once every semesters and the difficulty level is moderate for most subjects and a bit difficult for a few particular subjects. One thing that can be considered for the admission process is that offline admission process option should also be present as it would help a lot of people

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

A Detailed Review on ARSD College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Placement Experience:

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ). But these institutions didn't seem worth it and Delhi University in general has a better reputation....Read More
