Likes

The college life is full of freedom and enjoyment
Classrooms are well equiped with Acs and smart board
They organise fests almost in every month

Dislikes

The placement department is not upto the mark
The teachers here are not always available for students
Their hostel doesn't provide us with good food

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good enough but needs improvement in some areas like makin students industry ready.The curriculum consists of coding knowledge which really helps . Teachers should be available for students.Exams take place 2 times in a semester in every 2 months with having difficult level of questions

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 850000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement in our campus is above par but there are some areas where placement cell needs to focus.After 7th semester students become eligible for placement.Companies like JP morgan,wipro visits here.The highest package on campus has been 53 Lakhs and lowest has been 3,10,000 and average has been 5,25,000 .almost 80 % students get placed every year.I will be looking for working in a big MNC

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to spend 850000 as total course fee for 4 years for B.Tech .price remains constant.The college does not provide any scholarship that's sad but they should provide. Campus employment is above par but they need to work on some areas

Campus Life

The life in this campus is too good .It's a huge campus with each n every facilities including ac class rooms a well organised library and many more.you can get every kind of book in this library.Our college is known for conducting tournaments and they also focus on sports aspect

Admission

The admission process was somehow smooth.You need to be 12th pass with atleast 75% in PCM.you can find application on college website.No reservation benifts are there it's totally merit based.The exams happen in every two months in a semester.They should take less time for the fomalities

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
