What Students Say

Likes

Campus facilities like sports ground good wifi
The beauty of campus is unexplainable it have wide grounds with good greenery and infrastructure
The security is also too good provide safe environment

Dislikes

The weather here is bit too changing and extreme
The mess food is fine like eatable only but not tasty
The things inside campus are too expensive

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum has the required subject as well as a.separate course to understand what minor option u will get in your third year.. As students are often comfused what specialisation to.choose .The curriculum has industry based problems providing great preparation for real world application. The teaching methods needs a bit improvement in terms of focusing on students skill gaining instead of just getting a degree.. there are two exams one mid term and the final term at the end of semester

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about tuition fee increase policy The complete cost of education will cost you 25-30 lakhs for whole 4 year of btech including food and residential cost with tuition fee. There is scholarship available if you score good marks in LPUNEST exam your scholarship amount varies as per your performance. They are frequently part time job opportunities in campus for students

Campus Life

3.5

There are many festivals one after another . One is spectra. Which is annual event it's a cultural fest. The tech fest are happening too frequently you will hear every now and then about 2 days or 24 hours tech fests .There is ample of books with variety of range there is separate library for each school like school of law school of business and one main central library open 24x7 only closed on national holiday .The facilities are so good .there is separate court and equipment for every sports and a whole building given for extracurricular activities.there are many clubs and social group every club have a teacher for their guidance visiting the students time to timw

Admission

The admission process was smooth there are people to help you with it when you reach the university. There is a entrance exam LPUNEST . You can get admission on basis of your 12 percentage also but giving the exam will benefit you with scholarship depending upon your score.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
