Course Curriculum Overview

From my point of course for btech cse is very advance your one semester ends in 4 month approx and in which you have 24 CAs,5 paper of mid term and 8 paper of end term. 40 exam in one semester level course is very further proof my friend are from government college

Company come here for but you have skill then surely you entry in those more than 500 company come here everyone placement if want to do job without thinking of package of so called dream package

I am first year so I don't know about placement much but if you want to work or internship you will get it in Bangalore and Hyderabad it is good if think college provides place ments that it from my side.

Fees and Financial Aid

Everyone get scholarship minimum of 25 % and you become 92 k approx but for 2024 addmission fees may get become more like 170k for one semester and that it if want to get to become a part of lpu then you can join it.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good it's is little big compare to other private colleges huge red building good foods huge crowd and you can see hariyali also when you go to you class at 9 am all this make a good balance you will injoy it.

Hostel Facilities

All this is my opinion hostel and it's little costly as compare to to outside flats and mess food is so bad don't take it one thing is good about this is if you walkup in 10 minutes before the class you will reach class on time but if you live outside minimum 30-40 minutes to have leave your flats

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Minimum 60 percentage in class 12 Lpu conduct his own examination and on the basis of that you get scholarship. Three scholarship are there 30,28,25percentage.

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.
