Course Curriculum Overview

I choose btech cse because I want to become a web developer and want to learn different computer languages. Teachers provided to us are best of best and there teaching methods is also good. We easily understand every single concept they teaches us. Exams timing is also good and difficulty level is also fine.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 86600 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities provided to us are very good. The companies which provides internships are basically Amazon, Microsoft etc. The university also provide us the opportunity to study abroad and learn about the outside world.

Placement Experience

Well the placement are started in our 7th sem. There are various companies which are basically Amazon, google, flipcart, Microsoft etc. are some of the main companies visit university and the package they provide is very good. Well at least 95 percent of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee policy is good that even if some people doesn't have the money to pay they are provided enough time to without any interest and we can also get scholarship through many fields like jee, lpunest etc. The financial support university provide with is good. The maximum scholarship provide is 30percent.

Campus Life

My life in campus is very good. The celebration of various festivals held ands the club activities which keep on going are very nice. The books provided in library are good. There are a massive amount of books in library and the sports activities are also good university provide full support to every sports person.

Hostel Facilities

The facility provided to us in hostel are excellent. The rooms are good, mess food is good and menu is also good enough. Registration process for the hostel is also through lpu website. Well I am in bh-2 hostel and i feel good here.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Yes I took the entrance exam and it was a good experience as I got 366 marks out of 400. You can apply for the same from lpu website. It will provide every single details for the same. Well if you have the reservation there are benefits like the checking will be easy to cross and the documents will be verified easily. The timing of exams is good and the difficulty level is fine. I think there is no need for any improvement.

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.
