No ragging and teachers are very friendly and If any problem that we came across the problem will quickly be resolved through RMS.

Dislikes

A heck lot of people and no air and winters here are Crazy and one more thing the process of going for outing

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is entirely good in my opinion it doesn't needs to change. They also include some courses which was helpful after graduation like AWS. Some teachers are best and some are worst but overall the teachers always tries their best to teach us. There are total 3CAs, 1Mid term and 1 end term which was applicable for theory courses and as for pratical there are 4 CAs and 1 end term

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students have chance to go for some competitive events and internships which considered as placements. Big companies like amazon and google came with their internships. 64.5 lacs per annum got highest package last year which was for a Big DATA role. I opted for placements but I really wants to go for further studies

Fees and Financial Aid

I got 30% scholarship by my 12th boards percentage which was 97.4% . Actually through LPUNEST I got 20% scholarship at first and then I talked to admissions department then I changed my Scholarship bracket from 20% to 30%. Detailed Fee for 2021 batch student per year: Room:75000(Non AC four seater) (free 300 units of current) Academics:168000(for 2 semesters) Exam fee: 6000( for 2 semesters) Food:36000(3 times a day) (Not opted) Laundry:5000

Campus Life

Particularly I didn't join into any club but I heard that we can easily join to clubs and I also heard the members of the club are so sweet and friendly. There are loads of events to attend and loads of extracurricular activities to participate. There is a wing called DSW which provides so money to open food stall inside the campus. Every class room has two window ACs there are Old but always works like a charm and every class has a projector. In March and April (I dunno the exact time) there are ONE WORLD And ONE INDIA fests which are very huge.

Hostel Facilities

I got a NON AC 4seater room which has 4 beds In that room we got a cooler,3 fans 2 bathrooms, 4 almariahs and 1 large mirror attached to the door. ONLY KETTLE IS ALLOWED NO OTHER ELECTRONICS. As a South guy I absolutely hate the mess food that's why I didn't opt for it. I actually can't describe the process for hostel booking but for first year students they faculty will book for them by the time of arrival of college at first .

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

I got enrolled through a application which was given by my 12th Standard School. Then I wrote an entrance exam named LPUNEST in that I didn't get the scholarship then I used my boards percentage which was 97.4% then I got a 30% scholarship which is maximum in my respective year of admission which was applicable thought the course which is 4 years. LPUNEST is a bit difficult to attend actually but the persons who is behind the admissions are very helpful and solves queries very fast as compared to others.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
