What Students Say

Likes

Liked about the outer life you can enjoy in the campus like there are many places.
You can explore places in the college with friends about food and relaxation
Also you can explore Innovation studio consists of innovations made by students.

Dislikes

It's a huge place so that you have to walk too much

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

According to me not every faculty is good enough but some are good and some are friendly and also some are very soft and I think 70 percent of college staff is a good enough with knowledge relevant to the subject

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are internships provided by the college like paid and free and also sponsored by college through platforms through coursera.and also I have yet to explore the internship details still haven't focused on them

Placement Experience

Coming to the placements before recession they are good like offering the packages about 6 to 8 lpa. After this recession they dropped about 3 to 5 lpa so the companies also thinking before hiring them

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like 120000 for a semester in Btech computer science engineering. And depending on the entrance exam the fee may varies accordingly. So my fee is about 76000 and I got 327 marks out of 400 in the exam

Campus Life

When I entered the college I was surprised like the infrastructure was unique like they left the buildings without paint like only with plain bricks and campus is large about 600 acres where you can explore

Hostel Facilities

Coming to the hostel facilities like there are single seater double and also four seater and 10 members so the facilities are like average because of amenities quality provided by the college are not satisfactory

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Entrance exam scholarship is provided by the marks where I got 25% scholarship which is second category There are no reservation benifits provided by the university. In some colleges application is provided or you can visit the website of college

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
