Course Curriculum Overview

4

In 2016 after I completed my schoolings, ECE and CS was nearly booming. Eventually after discussing with my parents I had to choose ECE as I wasn't much kneen to learn or get into codings. They followed Anna University curriculum so it wasn't very tough. Needed deep listening skills when professors teach you. Coding practices could have been improved. Some professors just were outstanding. They had really good experiences in their past so the teaching aspects were very good and neat and understandable. They have frequent exams like revision exams, class tests. They are nearly like schools. This college teaches you discipline and professionalism when you go to the outer world though you don't feel it like a college atmosphere. They offer very good and friendly placement cell teachers They offer a lot of practices from various outside course staffs like Hacker rank etc

Internships Opportunities

5

All types of companies came for the placement drive. Some companies came to madurai campus itself while for other organisations we had to travel from madurai to Chennai to attend various placement drives. It was a good experience with friends, preparing for the interviews.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the end of third semester students become eligible for internships and they undergo the training for placements. Once they get the internships they are allowed to avail stipend respectively for which they have been selected. And attendance at the time of semester exams are only needed. Almost 80% students get placed somehow as the staffs keep training classes even on weekends. They keep practice sessions repeatedly. As of my knowledge lowest package was nearly 3LPA where as highest package was 5-6LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for BE is around 2.2 Lakhs per annum. Unit tests are conducted so its easy to prepare for university exam and faculty are good in the computer science department and the faculty-student ratio is good, the teaching method is very good and the lab facility is good. Merit-based scholarships. Placement a good lot of companies are coming on campus for the placement and we have a lot of platforms to annually upto 3.7 lakhs the salary is given. I got placed in a company with a stipend of 16k per month and if you are good in academics, the college will allow us to do internships. The management team takes a lot of effort to provide the best faculty for us with high qualifications and corporate experience.

Campus Life

3

They have pretty academic related tech programs that offers like puzzle games and coding games. They conduct symposium every year that ultimately tells you to do a project and perform it in front of the judges. The classrooms are large enough to accommodate 50 students. They don't focus much on sports as the campus is not sufficient to conduct the sports activities. As this college focuses mainly on academics there are no ways to have a student club or student elections.

Admission

Firstly I got into this college through Anna University counselling that happened in Chennai and as I received merit marks I got it easily as per the cutoff and category. As I went through counselling the admission process was effortless. Once I received the certificate from counseling about the college I opted for I directly visited the college reception and queried about the date and timelines for the feedback payment, fee structure, books collection, department etc. As I was not first graduate there was no scholarship for me. They have scholarships according to parents income level and it is very good. Exam patterns are near and descent. As the admission went smooth for me there are no areas of improvement recommended.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

I didn't receive counselling call

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
