What Students Say

Likes

Food, people and infrastructure and study

Dislikes

Rude behaviour of some teachers and the strict university rules as they don't allow non veg inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are same as every engineering college as I enquired from my friends colleges and even similiar lo IITs and it helps me to prepare for real world applications. Teachers here are using mainly online PDFs to teach it would be great if they prepare their own content and teach the students and the exam frequency is 3 hours and exam will be easy if you study even 1 week before the exams

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 180000 per year it's too much I know but as I needed the degree it is must for me to pay and food cost and hostel services will be around 80000 for residential services and 40000 for food and for placement services you have to pay 140000 and laundry fee and I'd card will be seperate there are few financial aids available for students as my friend also getting financial aid I know it is easy for you to claim and If you are having skills it is very easy for you to get jobs

Campus Life

4.5

My overall experience as of now is very good sometimes it's even great I'm spending my life's most quality time here and University is pretty good in terms of infrastructure and people here are very friendly and there are many events that happen in the university and the famous event is one India celebrated by all the students even from out of India students. Sports and students social groups also plays major role in the university

Admission

We have to write lpunest entrance exam first to qualify for that exam we have to pass class 12th. You will get application form on lpu offical website and I guess fee will be around 250 as far i remembered and dates for application will begin in December and continues till August and exam will be conducted for 3 hours and it is not as difficult as jee mains and simple as well I felt easy as I solved more than enough questions to qualify. Admission process should also be offline because finding everything on online is little bit difficult for the students who are far away from the university.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
