What Students Say

Likes

Faculty is very friendly in this campus.
We have so many platforms to participate.
The campus weather and nature is really lovely.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose computer science as my area of study primarily because it requires a cosiderable amount of problem solving. It can be used to solve real world problems by developing algorithms and softwrae solutions.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Interships are available in our college with stipend with 50,000 per month and the companies like BOSCH , Amazon , TCS , Cognizant etc. college offers various opportunities for students to work directly with industru on live and entrepreneurial projects.

Placement Experience

4.5

In 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements.Infinium , Play with simple games and Accenture this companies visited the campus recently. My plan is to get a job in college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on what course you choose and which specialization. Scholarships are based entrance exam result. Tuition fee is same for full graduation they won't increase but every year they increase for new joinings , once you joined with some particular amount of tuition fee it won't change till your graduation.

Campus Life

Campus life is absolutely outstanding with plesant nature. there are more than 43 lakh books and e-books on all subject fields and we can get any kind of books and journals in the library. They offer sports like football, baseball, athletics, cricket and kabaddi etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The facilities provided in hostel rooms like they will provide one bed , study table with chair and almarh for every student . Meals also good morning paratas and afternoon Rice ,roti with some currys and curd and also include all this with some sweet or icecream. We can register Ac or Non-Ac rooms its our choice.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Admission process was good and the way they explained each course was good and we can apply on online, payment is also online only exam dates we can choose its over choice . We have exam for 90 min . I think the admission process is good .

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
